Website Solutions Nee a website? http://www.gate.com is what I use to host all of my websites and to purchase domains. Select the domain you want, purchase hosting (usually for a year and usually around $9.95 a month with a free domain name for a year).
HTML Code Have you ever gotten stuck with html codes that didn't work? Whether on sites like Myspace or Facebook. Or on a website you're working on. http://webmonkey.com is a great site to help with simple web codes.
Create a GIF or animated image http://www10.blibs.com/animation-factory/index.php# I LOVE this site. If making an animated image, be sure that all of the images you are uploading are EXACTLY the same size. When the image is complete, right click and save to your own personal file for future use.
Here is an example of a GIF I created using the above site:
Internet Marketing Sites- Advertise everywhere. For free!
Did you know that there are more than 13 sites that you can advertise on, for free? Particularly for Real Estate. And for other things as well.
http://listings.local.yahoo.com/: Local Yahoo is great for increasing your rank on the yahoo search engine, and mapping your business.
http://www.googlemaps.com: Maps your location on Google and posts a free ad. This occurs when your clients type in your search keywords. Or keywords to the town you are in.
http://www.facebook.com has a great Marketplace tool. It's free. Also creating a Facebook page for fans is a great marketing tool for gathering your clients for promotions.
http://www.craigslist.com is HUGE for advertising just about anything. And it is also free. I recommend using a GIF in your advertising. Photos sell.
http://www.Postlets.com is great for Real Estate. Postlets is a feed site that send information to the following sites: backpage.com, enormo.com, frontdoor.com, googlebase.com, hotpads.com, trulia.com, vast.com, zillow.com, oodle.com, lycos.com, and a few other sites. You ONLY have to enter your information in the Postlets site. And they take care of all of the other sites for you. For free.
http://www.twitter.com is a micro blog site. Every day, you can upload a quick message, often with a link to something. It's simplicity makes it a challenge at first. It's very basic and simple.
http://www.myspace.com is a great networking site. In my opinion it's not as effective as Facebook. But for a single-page, dynamic web page, it's great. Additionally, it's an amazing place to house and share your photos. Myspace allows for you to upload gifs, too. Additionally, each image has it's own URL. To capture the URL for a particular image, simply right click on the image, go to properties, and copy the entire URL. You can paste this into an email to share the photo with friends and family, or use the URL in HTML code for other websites. (Facebook, Craigslist, etc.) Emailing
Gathering emails should become as second nature as asking for a client's name. The resource of an email is hugely valuable. And emails are free. (See the free theme throughout this page? Free is good!)
Once emails are gathered.. Then what? Email people. Sit down and create a schedule to which you want to email your clients, and messages (new and fresh) weekly that you want to deliver.
www.leadvelocity.com is a great marketing engine to help with automated emails for larger quantities of emails. You can try LeadVelocity for free for 30 days. After, it is $99/a month.
Please Note: The Laws!! There is a law called the Can-Spam Act. This protects people from being buried in e-marketing. At the bottom (in the signature bar) of every marketing email, you MUST include the ability for your client to unsucscribe to messages. You must also have a physical address and phone number for them to contact you.
Here is an example of a Can-Spam opt-out message: If you do not wish to receive future emails from us, please reply and put "Unsubscribe" in the subject window.
